Differences noted to Monkeemobile #1 vs #2

Vintage Monkeemobiles 1-vs-2 interiors

One of the main difference is that #2 had air-conditioning installed as noted by the duct/vent in the upper part of the dash above vent/heater controls and the radio and the circular ducts/vents to the extreme left and right of the dash (better seen in the later shots provided here). The tachs are different, as are the Stewart-Warner dials and the #2 looks to have an additional radio/player installed under it. Also notice that #2's inner door panels are full to the floor, where #1 looks to have carpeting on the bottom edge.

Later (post series/changes from series) MM1& MM2 interiors (added to note the circular AC ducts on MM2)

Some differences in the vintage #1-vs-#2. The belt covers are different. The #1 has 5 ribbed outlines on the front with a center containing a Jeffries crest and the #2 has 3 ribbed outlines and center with a Jeffries crest. The covers are different in shape and the #2's is narrower and higher. The flipper/butterfly valves on the Enderle "bugcatcher"/"birdcatcher"/scoop are different color. On the #1 they are black with the inside area being black and the #2 has red valves with natural silver/chrome color. The #1 has 3 "hat lines"/"fuel lines", black in color, (rubber?) and the #2 has 2, stainless/metallic in color. The #1 has 2 acorn nuts on top that holds on the scoop, and the position of the Jeffries crest is slightly different on each car's motor.

Muscle Car Review July 1968 article "MAKING THE MONKEE MOBILE" ...speaking on the #1 car..."The blower on this car is non-functional. The carburetor was installed inside the blower shell and the scoop was rigged to open when the throttle was depressed. The other Monkee Mobile, known as "The Wheelie Car," had a functional 671 blower on a GTO 389 engine built by Art Crisman hooked to a B&M modified automatic transmission."

Door Graphics were also different, MM1 was larger and filled the entire door (notice the "M" touches the door seam).

also not that the Jeffries crest was located a bit higher on MM2

MM1 and MM2 had different quarter-panel GTO emblems.
MM1 had the triangular style on it prior to the addition of the door graphic, then just the GTO
